To Store, Dried savory: Ground herbs tend to lose their flavor over time and should be replaced at least once a year. Date jars or cans when purchased for easy replacement, and store spices in dark, non-absorbent containers in a dry, cool area. Parsley: Parsley can either
be stored or frozen. To store, wash, pat dry and store in plastic bag in
refrigerator crisper. Parsley will keep in the frig for about one week.
To freeze parsley, wash fresh herbs carefully and pat dry. Then place the
herb in airtight freezer bags or containers and freeze. Blanching is not
necessary.
