SAUTÉED ONIONS
A delicious side dish to any meal. Serves 4 To 6

3 Tbsp     Butter
3 md        Onions; sliced and in rings
1/4 c         Dry sherry (or chicken broth)
1/4 ts        Sugar
1/4 tsp      Salt
1/8 tsp      Pepper
1-2 Tbsp  Grated Parmesan cheese

Saute onions in butter 5 to 8 minutes. Add sherry, sugar, salt and pepper; reduce heat and simmer,
stirring occasionally, 2 to 3 minutes. Sprinkle  with cheese before serving.
